It's pretty great but it's still not as good as the first book of his that I read: Only Forward.

It ended. Thus my life.

I nodded. Not understanding why I'd pushed myself into having this conversation. I felt my heart sink. If I didn't want to be here now, I shouldn't have said the things I had earlier. This happens because of that, and words are actions too. A lesson that mankind in general - and me in particular - seems to find hard to get through their heads.

Chaos stalks me. Gaining entrance through cracks in trivial maintenance, the things left undone. As soon as you realise how much there is to do to keep presenting a front, it becomes horribly easy to stop believing, and start counting again instead.

The knowledge did not make me feel any better, and my faith didn't make me feel anything except afraid. Faith/afraid: funny how similar the two words are. When we make ourselves believe things, how often is it just an attempt to hold back the fear?

What had previously made me feel that I was not alone, now increasingly confirms that I am. So what next? When you know somethings wrong but not how or why, what exactly can you do?
Not panic.

I shook my head, dismissed the train of thought. I know how much difference a nights sleep can make, that what seems ungovernable and world-breaking at one a.m can be made to feel like someone else's dream if you put seven hours of unconsciousness between it and you. Tomorrow's not just another day, another person lives it - And every time you go to sleep, you say goodbye.

Amen.

I cut the conversations, feeling pathetic.
For engaging in a vague level of happiness.
For being happy in the first place.
For being. Period.

Yes. I love my camera. I took this of Brooke last week.

So today I've got a hens night to attend. Well tonight rather.
Then after that, I have to sleep for maybe 2 hours before getting
on a plane to Melbourne to be with Jess. I'll be there for a while.

I should probably pack eh? Yeah I'll do that now actually.

Wow it's been a really fucking intense couple of days.
In fact it's been a really intense month. You have no idea.
Jess had been in Sydney heaps since we last spoke.
I started college again, picked up where I left off.
It's been great and I've been acing it so far.

I've been hanging out with Brooke (best friend) a lot more
and it feels..
nothing short of amazing.

I also got a new camera and have been taking plenty of
awesome, amazing photos of everything and everyone.

I'm flying to Melbourne again this Sunday. Finally!
I haven't been since.. I don't remember :\ (June?)

Will post more in a couple of days.
Might post some more photos.

Don't you hate it when you need a new look but can't afford it.
Well I can finally afford it. So I bought myself a jacket yesterday.
It was $170, but totally worth it. I also dyed my hair a bit today.
Anyway, the point is I feel good.

I got a new sketch book the other day in Newtown.
It's this little, Indian looking thing and I love it.
The paper is really thick and soft. So I've been sketching.

So my net hasn't been working for a while now and neither has my land line phone.
My dad called Optus and they sent two guys over today and within 20 minutes..
they had it fixed up. Also, it was no charge and they were really nice too.

On another note. Why is it so fucking cold already? It's so sunny outside.
I'm wearing jeans and a big wool jumper my grandmother made. And I'm still frozen.
I suppose I could turn my heater on, and maybe, possibly, perhaps, put on some socks.

I might go outside and take some photos. I'm incredibly bored.

So I actually talked to my best friend today.
Kinda weird that I only blogged about not hearing from her yesterday.

She filled me in on a few things going on in her life
And I filled her in about a few things going on in mine.
She wants to catch up, and so do I. So we'll see how it goes.

In other news, I had such trouble getting to sleep last night.
To top that off - my alarm went off early so I could take my dog for a walk.
When I got out of bed and had breakfast, I couldn't find her collar. Anywhere.
I bet you the little shit has hidden it.
So I couldn't walk her.

But I still really wanted to go for a walk, by the time I realised this - it was raining.
My day wasn't all that bad. I felt productive. I've been thinking about changing my room around.
I kinda want to make it look more like a bachelor pad, without the mess.
Is that weird? Any ideas?

Also, Jen Cloher contacted me today asking for some design work.
She said she'd like to keep me around as their official designer. So that's real good news.

Hmm there's not much else to say about today.
I made myself tereaki stirfry tonight and experimented a bit.
It was nothing short of amazing.

On a final note, last night I went through my old posts on this thing.
And.. wow. I literally felt sick at how immature and illiterate I was at 14.
Plus some of the stuff I blogged about was incredibly lame and silly.

Okay so, give me ideas on how to change my room around?
I have blue walls that over the last couple of years I've tried desperately to cover up
with things like posters and big pieces of material.
I can't afford to paint it atm, and to be honest it's not my first priority either.
Ideas?

I might start posting regularly on this thing again.
I have a lot of things to say. I'm not sure I remember how to blog properly.
I feel like I only ever talk about my Jess (my girlfriend) on here.
Which isn't a bad thing - she's beautiful and a huge part of my life.
I just feel like I should be writing about other things too.

Like the fact that I lost my best friend.
She has a new crowd. A new scene.
A new group of friends she'd rather be with.
That's all fine and dandy, and good for her. But I'm done chasing her.
If she ever remembers that I'm still alive
and that I never did a thing wrong by her..
maybe she'll pick up the phone and talk to me.

Yep, I've decided. I'm going to start using this thing as a proper blog.
And I'll put a small, relevant photo up in each post.

So I did some research and found out that if you contact Youtube and tell them you'll delete the offending videos - they've been known to unsuspend your account.

I sent just sent Youtube this:

"Hi,

My name is Cecilia and I write to you on behalf of the 5 Art Bits from the 5 Art Bit channel. Which has, as of today, been suspended.

The 5 of us worked so hard to make this channel extremely entertaining and unlike any other Youtube channel out there.

Admittedly we obviously made some mistakes with our music choice (in some of our videos we didn't use royalty free music) and we absolutely regret our stupidity for not being up to date with the Terms Of Service.

However a lot of our videos did not contain any copyrighted music and due to one or two of them containing copyrighted music - our entire channel (all our hard work) has been removed (or suspended).

YouTube, we implore you to reconsider our suspension as a channel and ask that if given the chance - may we delete the offending videos and keep our channel, now that we are up to date with the Terms Of Service?

3 hours later the channel was put back up.

It's back up. I don't know why.
Maybe it was my email to them, but if that's the case - they haven't emailed me back saying which videos to delete.

Maybe it was a mistake. Maybe they're giving us another chance.

Macbook battery problems!

So basically I noticed about a year ago that my macbook battery has been playing up
and just recently I noticed that the battery is physically really bloated and is deformed.

Apple has recently discovered that some batteries used in its MacBook and MacBook Pro notebooks may have battery performance issues.

This applies to Macbook or Macbook Pro's that were purchased between February 2006 and April 2007.

If your battery has any of the symptoms listed below, please call your local Apple Support Contact Center. If Apple or an AASP determines that your battery is eligible for replacement, you will receive a new battery, free of charge, even if your MacBook or MacBook Pro is out of warranty.

Identifying an affected battery

Affected batteries will have one or more of the following symptoms:

Battery is not recognized causing an “X” to appear in the battery icon in the Finder menu bar.
Battery will not charge when computer is plugged into AC power.
Battery exhibits low charge capacity/runtime when using a fully charged battery with a battery cycle count (as shown in System Profiler) of less than 300.
Battery pack is visibly deformed.

So today I called my local Apple Support Center and was on hold for 10 minutes before I finally spoke to this Alex chick.
So she asked for me name and product serial number before I told her anything and she told me something along the lines of "I'm not really supposed to be helping you for free because you're out of warranty but give me a brief run down of what's happening and maybe I can talk you through it, otherwise you have to pay"

So I told her about what's been happening and about what the apple website says to do and stuff.. and she got me to email the URL of the page to her so I did. Then she spent forever reading the page to herself.. but you know that really annoying speed read type thing where they're almost whispering. It was like this "whisper whisper.. blah blah blah.. whisper.. blah.. blah blah.. whisper whisper.. louder whisper.. whisper.. blah" Yeah.. she actually was saying "blah".. I'm not kidding.

So after my hair turned gray over time - she finally said she read through it and got more of my details and said she's gonna put me through to customer relations because they should be able to help me. So she puts me on hold for another 10 minutes and I was made to listen to some shit fucking aussie hip hop annoying shit SHIT.. then finally she picks up the phone laughing and I can hear a guy laughing too. And she's like "Okay hi.. sorry.. Cecilia?.. hi.. I'm just going to put you through to *insert name* and he'll be able to help you out okay? okay.. bye"

So she just put me through and the dude said that he's really sorry that my battery has been playing up and that he's just gonna read through my details and all the information and then get back to me on how he can help. So he's going to call me back in about 5 minutes. We'll see how it goes.

.. I couldn't help but think they were flirting while I was on hold though. Why were they laughing? Jerks.. It's not funny. My battery is like.. preggers!

Anyway.. I'll keep you updated on what happens when he calls me back.

I'm so inspired and motivated to create at the moment.

I'm working on an altered book right now and I've just
finished the case for it. (yep the book will come in a case)

I went out today and bought even more art supplies.
Then I went to Bunnings Warehouse and bought a whole
heaps of cool stuff / bits and pieces.
